What we collect
When you sign up for the RangeInsiders newsletter, we collect:
- Your email address.
- The date and time of your signup and confirmation, the page you signed up on, your IP address, and your browser type. We keep these as a record of your consent.
- Whether you open our emails and which links you click. We use this to send email only to people who want it.
How we use it
- To send you the weekly RangeInsiders newsletter: deals, news, legislation updates, gear reviews, and giveaways.
- To confirm your subscription. We send one confirmation email, and we do not send the newsletter until you confirm.
- To stop sending to addresses that bounce, complain, or do not engage.
We do not sell or rent your email address.
Who processes your data
We send email through Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS). Our mailing list runs on servers we manage, hosted by Hetzner in Finland. These providers process data only to deliver our email.
Unsubscribing
Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes you, and the change takes effect immediately. You can also email us to unsubscribe or to ask us to delete your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscription data while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list only so that we never email you again.
